Direct link to SuccessFactors course from website

Hi All,

We use SuccessFactors LMS (with single sign-on) for online learning and we're looking to be able to link directly to courses on SuccessFactors LMS from links in SharePoint.

I.e. There's a course on Project Management and we want to add a link into our SharePoint home page where people click it and it takes them straight to the course in SuccessFactors LMS and is logged into their profile / account. It doesn't matter if I click the link or my colleague does, it takes us to our own correct profile / account.

Do you know if this is possible and how we would do it?

Thanks,
Adrian

  1. From the Learning Administration module in the Menu go to System Administration > System Management Tools > Generate Direct Link.
  2. Select the Direct Link Type based on the learning you are linking to. i.e., select Item Details to link to a specific item or select Program Details to link to a program with multiple items in it.
  3. Click the magnifying glass, then enter the details to pull up the learning item (e.g., Item ID), then Search, and select the item.
  4. Select Display Link.
  5. Copy this link to your SharePoint site/page.
This will take any user to the specific learning item.

You need to generate a direct link to this course from Learning Administration, which can be used by users who access via SSO
