Is there a way to get a Direct link to a SAP Enable Now Glossary so it can be accessed directly. If i obtain the published Glossary object URL it does not take me to the Glossary directly which would then present the content.
In the attached image called Glossary-Directlink.png, is there a way to obtain a direct link and go to the Glossary directly?

Additional Info.
I followed Shane guidance in the response below and these were my findings.
The StartLink would present this content. However, it did not display the Glossary Item Content
To see the Glossary items i had to select the option located on the Drop-down menu located in the top left. In doing so I would see the Glossary items.
The reason for this Question was to see if there was a way i could have a link direct to the Glossary terms in any location i needed it present i.e. SAP Companion link, Book Pages etc.

Hi Bart,
OK, I think I understand the issue. If you are referring to the way that the content plays back, then they are different. When I playback a glossary accessed under the Glossary button in a library I see something like:
If I playback the same library using a direct link I see:
So, they don't look the same but I'm still able to access the glossary using a direct link. I'm not sure that there is any way to get the library to look like the version that auto opens up when it is accessed by the library button on a library.

Shane

Hi Andrew,
Yes, it is definitely possible to access the Glossary directly from Enable Now Manager. To do this:
1. Open Manager and click on the highest level folder in the Glossary structure, e.g. it might to called SAP Glossary or something Similar
2. Publish the Glossary content - click the down arrow next to More and select Publish All Objects
3. Click the down arrow next to All Content, in the top, right corner, and select Published
4. When the screen redisplays, click on the highest level folder for the Glossary content again
5. Copy the Start Link URL and that can be used to start the Glossary directly. When you run that URL in a browser you should seen something like the following image

Hi @ShaneLipke , I now have the same issue (not sure it's related to the 2411 Cloud SEN upgrade or not). We are using the Playback Settings > Library > Glossary > Glossary Group to make the Glossary menu display in the Library's upper left drop-down menu button.
As such, it was always my understanding that using the Glossary setting in the Playback Settings precludes any direct Library View of the Glossary, because that Playback setting suppresses the Glossary folders and their contents from displaying in the Library tree. We've had it set that way for a year or two, and we always tell the Learners to use the Library's upper left drop-down menu button to see the Glossary. A teammate told me today that there was a direct hyperlink set up to the Glossary that USED to work, and the Glossary would display its folders AND the contents, but now it no longer works. I tested and confirmed that it does not work now, because the Glossary folders are empty in the Library tree.
I don't remember it ever working with a direct link. I performed the steps you outlined here to make it work, but those steps do not work for me. The Library and its Text Units are all Published, the Text Units are "Glossary" type, we are using the Description field for the definition.
Old link in a Book Page to the Glossary folder, which no longer works (if it ever did, I never saw it work), is a Workspace link to the Glossary folder [no URL is displayed]
New link using your steps, which does not work either:
Free Link to the Glossary folder, https://[ManagerURL]/wa/[workareaID]/~tag/published/index.html?show=group!GR_5119BFC72F69B386
Any suggestions?
