Hello,
What is the difference between Hire Rule and Accrual Rule when assigning to Time Account Type Vacation? See screenshot attached tatrules.png
Request clarification before answering.
Hello,
We have a question on the topic: If an employee changes the working days in the year of his employment, the Accrual Rule is not executed. This seems to be a technical issue, see the following KBA: https://me.sap.com/notes/2845040/E.
But if I understand the answer correctly, the Hire Rule is only triggered once at hire, then no more. What can be done if an employee changes working days in the year of hire.
Thanks for an answer.

Hire rule generally only triggers as of the hire date, whereas accrual rule triggers in all other instances. With annual time accounts hire rule can be nice to prorate the period, which you shouldn't commonly want in the accrual rule. In a lot of ways you can however use them in the same way, its mainly the trigger that differs (especially when using monthly accounts).
