I have an issue with Desktop Assistant guided tours which have stopped working. When the generated DA is run in SAP the guided tour appears but fails to launch from the side bar. I don't believe any changes have been made to the DA playback settings.
Any ideas of where to look to try and resolve this?

Hell Shane,
I have regenerated the DA again. The attached screenshot shows the DA being displayed for the VA03, it is not just this tcode that has the problem. Unfortunately, once you launch snipping tool the flashing light bulb switches off but it was active. Clicking on the Start Guided Tour does nothing. This behaviour has started this week. I occurs in all several workareas and on a different server.
This issue is at SLB and they raised a ticket for this on Wednesday this week.
This is the page key info for the same screen :
<PageKey> <HTML3/> <SAP> <PageAtt type="programm" value="SAPMV45A" langdep="0"/> <PageAtt type="text" value="wnd[0]" langdep="0"/> <PageAtt type="title" value="RegExp(/.*/)" original="Display Sales Order: Initial Screen" langdep="1"/> <PageAtt type="transaction" value="VA03" langdep="0"/> <PageAtt type="type" value="GuiMainWindow" langdep="0"/> </SAP> </PageKey>
Let me know if you need anymore information. I am back online on Monday in the UK at 7:00.

Hello Shane,
So you are aware the problem occurs for authors testing DA and not end users using the SENL file. I have run the DA/Project from Producer but cannot run it from a generated DA as an author.

Hi Barney,
You could try regenerating the DA and syncrhonising the new DA files to Manager and then try again to see if that addresses the issue.
Does the tour that does not play from the side bar, play if you open it in Producer and simulate it in Producer? If it doesn't play directly from Producer, then there is an issue with the tour. If it does play from Producer but won't launch from the side bar, something is up with the DA files or the connection to Manager.
Regards
Shane

Thanks Michael. Is your action to clear cache for end users? The issue at the moment is for authors.

Hi Barney,
its quiet hard to say what is causing this. Important is that every content and associated resources are published and the content is working without issues for the authors.
You can also try to delete you local DA cache. You should see a small Desktop Assistant symbol in the windows tray bar. Click right on it and choose "Delete Local Cache". Maybe the tour will then start correctly again.
If you still have issues please open up an Incident to our technical support team: https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#incident/create
Please use the component KM-WPB-NAV
Give them then as many possible details, like if the issue its just for one user or for a lot of users. Screenshots are also helpful.
Best regards, Michael
