Hi Community!
When playing back published demos in a browser, they always tend to get stuck, and the loading of the screenshots is often very slow. Is there a particular reason for that? We are often getting complains from learners about that, and we are not really about sure how to address these concerns.
Thanks a lot for the advise!
Hi Lynn,
From where you are located, access would be good if your Enable Now instance was located in one of the European data centers but not good if your implementation was in Australia, Japan or China. This is typically an issue with network latency due to poor networks (internet) and long distances. You could talk to your network team to see if there is anything they can do to improve this situation, e.g. prioritizing this traffic, or consider the use of Akamai to mirror the content in multiple locations around the world.

Shane

Also clear your browser cache. If you're using Chrome (and likely Edge as well) once the cache gets to 319Mb things start to really slow down. I have to clear mine at least once a week.

Hi Lynn,
Your issues are likely related to network speed but there could be other factors causing problems. Are the users reporting issues in the same general location as your Enable Now data center? For example, if your organization is based out of Europe but the users reporting issues are located in Asia, it's possible that there will be issues with network latency.
Try running the Enable Now speed test from Info Center to get some idea of whether this is a factor. Open Info Center and then open the Cloud Edition > Cloud Data Center Speed Test link. Run the test and see if the speed for your Enable Now data center is slow. If it is, you should talk to your IT team to see if there is something that they can do to prioritize the Enable Now network traffic, to speed things up. The only other option that I'm aware of to resolve slow speeds is to consider using Akamai to accelerate the content.

Shane
