Delete Previous Attachment from Personal Information and Work Permit Portlet for new time slice

Hello Experts,

Please guide me on a way (either via business rule or some other way) to automatically remove previous attachments from Personal Information and Work Permit Portlet as soon as new time slice of these portlet is created/inserted.
