We need assistance in permanently deleting a directory tree from Manager (~30,000 objects). When attempting to delete, it looks like it is processing, but the entire directory tree still resides. There is a large amount of content that was previously fetched from a connected workarea and that connected workarea has been deleted from the system. We want to delete the content from our server and have already disconnected from the connected workarea. Do you have any recommendations on how this can be content can be deleted from our server?

Something is still in edit mode or you do not have the permissions to delete in the workarea. Have you checked that?

Administration -->Workarea/tags --> permissions--> Look to make sure your role or user has rights to delete. Make sure you do not have a role assigned that is blocking you from doing this.

If that does not work please reach out to your CEE and we can set up a 1:1 to take a look.

Hope that helps

First in the manger you have to put all the items you want to delete in Edit mode. You can do this from the More Drop down in the manager above the publish button.

Then you want to select the folder/group you want to delete. Then in manager you have a delete item. if something is already in edit mode you will need to cancel editing on items someone has open.

Hope that helps

I did put the items I wanted to delete in Edit mode and selected the folder/group I wanted to delete, and clicked delete tree. I am able to delete items, it's just this specific group that's causing trouble, which is the SAP Cloud Content. As you see in the screenshot, it has all of the materials for 1709 - on Prem, 1809-on Prem, 1909 On Prem, 2005 Cloud, 2008, etc. We had already disconnected from the SAP Cloud Content work area. This content was previously fetched from that connected workarea, but this connected workarea was deleted from the system. We need to delete this fetched content from our server but it won't allow us.
