Hello all,
I've submitted an enhancement idea related to the rejection email delay configuration in Recruiting SuccessFactors and would need your support with a vote, if you find it useful.
Here goes: the rejection email delay configuration does not work on records that are processed via an interface. This means that candidates moved through an API, not manually, will receive instant rejection emails, which means a bad user experience, as people feel that their applications have not been reviewed thoroughly. So I proposed this update on the rejection delay config behavior: https://influence.sap.com/sap/ino/#/idea/255763
Please check this idea out on the influence hub and vote so we can get to 20 votes, which is the minimum for reviewing the idea further: https://influence.sap.com/sap/ino/#/idea/255763
I appreciate any support I can get:).
Thank you and have a lovely day!

Hi Alex,
Hope you are well.
The feature does not work when candidates are progressed via API, not manually. Not sure why this is. My proposal aims to fix this and enable the same behaviour of the delay meshanism for both manual updates and upserts via API.
Thanks for your answer and enjoy your day!
