Hello,

There is an anomaly in the system what comes to the translations.

Please see my test cases below:

  1. 1.My language setting is US English
    2. created a new position without translations
    3. after wf approval the default in translation = position name
    4. changed my language to UK English, then the positions translations are shown in default and US translation = position name
  2. 1. My language setting is UK English
    2. created a new position without translations
    3. after wf approval the default in translation = position name, and no US translation
    4. changed my language to US English, then the positions translations are shown default and UK translation = position name
  3. 1. language US English
    2. adjusted position name, didn't update position translations
    3. approved wf, default translation is not updated with the new position name
    4. changed my language to UK English then translation shows US English with new updated position name and default value shows the old position name

As we use US English in integrations this causes manual work afterwards and is not so good employee experience either.

Have you faced this and if how have you proceed?

Hello,

Thanks for quick prompt, we just guided business to enter default value simultaneously but this business rule is a good tip, thanks 🙂

Haven't you considered manually updating the title translation if it is not showing as desired / setting up a business rule that fills translations in a particular way?
