HI Team,

wanted to check how we can hide the year from the date of birth feild from personal information portlet . both in reports and in system view for other

This allows our designated HR users to see specific demographic perms allowances, and emp on self but no others.

Hi there!

Are you inquiring as to the EC related field view within the biographical portlet area?

If so- we created a business rule (configure business rules) that only permissioned certain group members to have that field view and the log in user themselves (to prevent additional and unintended proxy visibility). It was conditional that if the user attempting to view as not a group member in those areas, they were not provisioned view/edit, etc.

We had to use an addendum to Context.CurrentUser not = to Login User() and block any other groups w permission to that area.

Hi alexander.pelaminraj ,

In LMS, the date of birth (Birthday) field is a standard text field. It is not a date field here. This data is being fed from the BizX User Connector. If you want to modify the date of birth field, you will need to do it from the BizX end, and send it over in the input feed file. In the LMS System, however you do not have the option to remove the year from the date of birth field.
