Date Format in EC Adhoc reporting

Dear EC experts

In Employee Central at adhoc reporting, by default the date format is dd/mm/yyyy but we are facing issue because of "mm" format of month.

If date character is lesser than month character we are forced to read incorrect date format.

For example:- if recruitment date of an employee is 02nd May 2018, then in adhoc report date on the cell will get fetched as 2/5/2018 but when we filter and see the information then date is showcasing as 2018 February 05, where we couldn't arrive at right information.

is it possible to change the month format from mm to mmm to avoid the discrepancy?
