Data Capture Forms & Talent Pools for Career Fairs

Hello,

We are trying to figure out how to utilize data capture forms and talent pools for use during career fairs. The current external software that is used for career fairs allows the onsite recruiting team (that includes hiring managers not in HR) to interview and add notes about the interview to the candidate profile immediately after the candidate has filled out a form on a tablet in the booth.

At this point in the process they would not be in a requisition (and might not even be in the talent pool yet for the recruiting team to find if the saved searches update once per day), so they would not be in interview central (which also might be time consuming to set up quickly during the career fair).

Anyway, we're struggling to figure out a workaround for the need to document conversations with candidates while they are in the booth during a career fair using SuccessFactors recruiting. Does anyone have suggestions for us?

We are open to changing the process a little bit, too. How do you use SuccessFactors recruiting for career fairs?

Thanks!

Hello Brandy,

Maybe a workaround would be, that you can link the Interview notes, you made during the Fair as an attachment in the candidate profile. For that you have to create a new field in Objectdefinition for Candidate Profile Extention.

Here you can add an attachment field via "Take Action- Make Correction" Button. Add a new Customfield and choose as Data Type "Attachment"

In the Details make it Editable. So when a new Candidate filled out the Data Capture Form, and you search for him in the System, you can attach your note in the Profile. And it is not seen for the Candidate himself.

It is not a nice Workaround, but maybe a solution for your Problem, till SAP give us more Options 🙂
