Is there a way to convert Contingent Worker to Employee without impacting the continuity of the Employment via External Hire ? Legal Entity transfer works only for Internal Hire . But we would require to collect more data when the CWK is getting converted to Employee so we would like to use External Hire option . Is there any work around for this ?

If an employee goes from contingent worker to regular employee (or vice versa even), the only way is rehire with new user-id (but same person-id-external, so quite similar to concurrent employment) or just completely hire as a new user (which is often not preferred).
