Custom MDFs External Code User in Onboarding Additional Data Collection

Hi everyone,

is it possible to use MDF Objects with external Code User (EC-People Profile MDF Portlet) also in ONB? Or do we have to build two MDFs (external Code User for EC and external Code Auto Number for ONB) and use a integration center job to transfer MDF Date from ONB to EC?
