Custom fields in Employee Central

Hello dears,

I'm trying to validate some fields in Manage Business Configuration using business rules, I have created two custom fields in Job information Tile, I'm trying to validate those two fields by writing a rule, the problem is, or lets say what my mind says about the rule, or how I should write it. so:

lets say the 1st field is name as "Regular Accrual Apply" with type of Boolean, and the second field name as "Individual Accrual Amount" , so the rule would say :

this is a link in people profile, Job information

If "Regular Accrual Apply" = "No",

set "Individual Accrual Amount" to hide the field,

Else

make "Individual Accrual Amount" Required.

anyone can assist me with the rule ? how to write it

because I was trying to write the rule with type "Basic" and the base object is: " Job information Model", the required and the value shows just text, and I guess this is wrong.

Dear Swapna,

I'm trying to adapt the rule/ screenshot of the rule that you have provided, and its pretty convenience to me, cause the case is almost the same, but when I'm trying to write the rule, I can't find in "Rule Type" the HRIS Rules.

Can you assist me with that please ?

Hi Nart,

Yes, you need to update the text to 'true' and 'both'.

Dear Swapna,

I have tested it using the rule, and I have associated it in Job information in Manage Business Configuration, I have tested it using the add new employee action or in the edit in the people profile, both are still the same.

it suppose to do the following: if the boolean in No , the next field should disappear, if the boolean is yes, the field should be required.

Please add rule type in Picklist Centre, please see attached sreenshot.

Dear Swapna,

I have added the HRIS Rules to the picklist center as you provided, and it worked,

but its still the same issue with the visibility, it shows as a text.
