Custom field not getting saved in Salary tab - Compensation module

I have created a custom field in design settings in Salary tab under compensation module which is used to calculate the percentage based on other two custom fields. When we are saving the worksheet, the value in this new custom field is not getting saved and showing N/A.

There are many threads on the community on this type of issues, it's a FAQ.

It has to do with the way the formula is written or the need to have toString or toNumber to properly reference the source values used in the formula conditions.

Can you share the formula as well as type of column (string, percent,...) the formula is in ?
