Custom email to external group mail id through onboarding 2.0?

Dear All, 

Is it possible to send email to external group mail id through Onboarding 2.0 Email services. 

The explicit recipient builder have prerequisite that user email is should be present in SF but these group mail ids are not present in SF. 

Please suggest a way/alternative solution.

You have to create some technical user for solve this issue. This is my experience at my client.

Hello Harsha,

Creating the users (just with the minimum basic data for the UDF) is not possible?

You would then have active users linked and you could build any logic, even a permission group that could be then used to sent the email.

Thanks for your reply. But we can't add any dummy users on Production for maintaining group email ids.
