Custom Buttons + Link in Book Pages

Hi Community,

I created custom buttons linked to Demo and Practice modes. I used shapes and inserted links using this parameter $#{project:.uid}:demo. However, the link is only applied to the text. What I want is to also apply the link to the whole shape for wider hitbox.

To achieve a wider hitbox, I tried using an Active Area and I used the Link property with the same parameter but I've got below error.

Is there other way to create custom buttons using the parameter that the link is applied to the whole shape/button?

Ensure you select the Shape object (i.e demo button) -> go to Link section -> Link To -> select your Demo mode.

Thank you for your answer. However, I already tried it and I've got the same error.

I would like also to highlight here that I am using this parameter/code when linking: $#{project:.uid}:demo .

The code is very helpful for me in creating templates because it does not require me to manually select the demo or practice mode.
