Curricula assignment profile dependent on a period of time after completion of another curricula

Hello Community,

I would like to find out if any LMS Admin has an experience in setting up this scenario in LMS:

I have to structure a set of three courses with the following framework:

1. COURSE 1: to be completed once within 60 days from assignment date (ex. 01/01/2023)

2. COURSE 2: to be completed once within 60 days from assignment date (ex. 01/01/2023)

3. COURSE 3: to be assigned for the first time after 1643 days from the completion date of COURSE 2 and to be retrained every 1643 days (if Completion date of COURSE 2 is 01/02/2023, it will be assigned to users on 06/03/2027)

I have created two different curricula to comply with the request:

1. CURRICULA 1 (including COURSE 1 and COURSE 2)

2. CURRICULA 2 (COURSE 3, with Retraining Period of 1643 days)

I will propagate the two curricula with Assignment Profile, so I created the following AP:

“AP_1” (connected to CURRICULA 1)

“AP_2” (connected to CURRICULA 2): in the Rules tab I set up the needs of completion of COURSE 1 and COURSE 2.

In order to not to make the COURSE 3 appear in “My Learning” immediately after completion of curricula CURRICULA 1, I set up a substitute course relationship between COURSE 2 and COURSE 3.

Despite these settings, once assigned the CURRICULA 1, the due date of COURSE 3 in “My Learning” appears to be the completion date of COURSE 2 + 1643 days, making the display of curricula always overdue (even from the date on which it appears to users in “My Learning”).

My question is: how can I change the settings so that the due date of CURRICULA 2 doesn’t appear or (if it’s mandatory) appears to be 1643 days after the completion of COURSE 2 + 365 days, and so the one of the future retraining (1643 days after the completion of COURSE 3 + 365 days)?

Has anyone had to structure a similar configuration? How did you handle it?

Thank you for your help and suggestions!
