Curricula annual retraining

Dear Experts,

I would like to create a curriculum with the following values.

Our employees should complete an inspection in the period between 1.1. and 31.12., which is represented as a course in the system and is backed up with a quiz. They have always time during the year to complete this course. For new hires who starts in the middle of the year, only the limited time until 31.12. is available for the first time. From 1.1. the curriculum has to be reassigned (i.e. annual retraining).

I tried several things but the curricula is not working exactly how I want.

Maybe somebody could help me.

Good day,

Try the following:

  • Initial Number: 1
  • Initial Period: Year
  • Threshold: Leave blank
  • Basis: Hire Date
  • Basis Date: 01/01/YYYY
  • Retraining Number: 1
  • Retraining Period: Year
  • Basis: Calendar

This should require your new hires to be due by 12/31/YYYY no matter when they are assigned. The following year everyone will be due 12/31/YYYY.
