Creating a Job Description

Hello all,

Taking into account that a Job Description should accurately depict what an employee is supposed to do, whats the purpose of connecting Job Description to Job Classification if Job Classification is a broad concept: e.g Manager..

It doesnt make more sense to make a Position Description? That reminds more a Job Descritpion

Standardisation. As a company you may have certain standards for roles (i.e. managers) and that helps to standardize job descriptions and saves the organisation time (as they don't need to write them every time, but can tap into the ones already generally in existence for a certain job code for instance.
