Creating a Deeplink to Learning History

Hi all,

We are using SuccessFactors for our LMS, I would like to create deep links for users completed learning history in SuccessFactors, I am able to get close with this link:

https://performancemanager4.successfactors.com/sf/learning?destUrl=https%3a%2f%2fswg%2eplateau%2ecom...

I created this link by going into the Admin Center > System Administration > System Management Tools > Generate Direct Link > selecting Learning History from the dropdown and generating the link.

However, this link only takes me to my own learning history items, I would like to edit the link to include the username of a different user in our system, example a parameter in the URL like: username=CON01010

I checked the KB for Deep Links and wasn't able to find what I was looking for.

Any help would be appreciated!

The reason it won't work, is because (in order to directly see it on employee level), you need to use the proxy feature built into learning. You can try to navigate to the proxied URL and then click learning history (in that sense its just 1 extra click) to see it potentially, i.e.
https://YOURCOMPANY.plateau.com/learning/user/authenticateAdminProxy.do?studentID=IDOFUSER

The alternative is that via edit learning history you take and narrow down the URL to see how you can make it specific, but that has so many variables that its likely not worth it.

Hi everyone, I was still not able to get a proper solution to this deeplinking quesiton.

For a little more clarity:

The page I am trying to access is this:

https://companyname.plateau.com/learning/user/personal/viewCompletedWork.do?

The page looks like this:

My goal is to create a QR code linking to this page (for each field employee, it will be printed on their badges) to be able to access this page for each user to quickly check their qualifications in the field and ensure that they have completed the required training.

I was hoping it would be something simple as adding a parameter to the URL like this for example: https://companyname.plateau.com/learning/user/personal/viewCompletedWork.do?studentID=123456

I would also like to have an external facing URL that allows anyone to see this information without having to login to SuccessFactors to view it - this is optional, but ideal.

Thanks,

Saad

Hi Jasper,

Thanks for sharing that, it works get me to the main learning page for a user - so it brings me a lot closer to my end goal - however the page I want to see immediately on opening the link is the Completed Items page (https://companyname.plateau.com/learning/user/personal/viewCompletedWork.do?) - isn't there some way to access this page through the proxy for a specific user ID?

The direct link in my original post actually takes me to this Completed Items page - so I think there must be some way to proxy into this page as well?
