I have a question regarding adding users to the Learning Management System (LMS). Currently, instructors are teaching our employees who are not registered in the LMS. These employees do not have an employment contract, manager, or organizational unit as they work for another company because they are hired by us.Due to the hiring process, the instructor often changes. When creating an EC profile for individuals, they need to be associated with an organizational structure, which we do not want. How can I create profiles for these hired individuals who work as instructors for us in the LMS without them being linked to EC so that they can schedule courses and record participant results?
Hi Guido,
Thank you for your response.
The way you describe it is the same way we currently handle it. However, I would like to know if it's possible for external users to have access the LMS as a instructor and register records without being an employee in EC. Thats saves a lot of work for the admins.

Hi Danny,
we create for our external in instructors manually an user directly in the LMS with the suffix ex in the ID.
Give them the normal instructor role. Set the licencetyp to functional, Set the timezone. And don't assign them to any organisation. Fill in the e-mailaddress and all other fields you need.
These instructors can be assigned in the agenda of classes like internal instructors.
Our external instructors don't have access to the LMS. They have no access to "My classes". So they cannot record participations by themselves. This work has to do the admin.
