Create an alert for one pay component recurring

Hi Experts,

We do need to create an alert for one pay component recurring. The alert should get triggered, if the pay component value get changed or deleted.

We tried to do this with several different business rules, in compensation information as well as in pay component recurring. We tried to get the change of the pay component directly, as well as to put this one pay component in one pay component group and ask for the original value of the pay component group.

However, the result was never satisfying - either with the paycomponent directly, neither with the paycomponent group. The alert does get triggerd for every change in pay component recurring, even if another pay component was changed, or the alert was never triggered. We were not able to build a rule, which iternates through all pay components and only looks at the one pay component. 

We tried to use the function carindality () as well, but also this function hasnt lead to the expected behaviour. 

Has anyone experience with alerts for specific pay components?

Hi, Yes for sure: We tried different ways: 1) Compensation information Modell (in CompInfo): we simply asked, if the value of this one specific pay component has changed: 2025-02-27 08_57_54-Configure Business Rules - SuccessFactors.png 2) Second way: 2025-02-27 09_27_22-Configure Business Rules - SuccessFactors.png 3) Third way: PayComponentRecurring with Base Object Compensation Modell: we created a pay component group where only this pay component is added. If the one pay component gets changed / deleted / .. the rule should get triggered. However when analysing the rule trace we do see, that we are not able to retrieve the value of the pay component in the pay component group. So there is never a value for the previous value of the paycomponent group.
