Dear Experts,

IT14 Recurring allowance is not prorated when there is split in IT0186 for SG payroll.

For Example, Basic pay (OW) in IT0008 of $5,000 and Housing allowance (OW) in IT0014 of $1,000.
1) Staff obtained PR (Converted from foreigner to PR-Permanent Resident) which is effective from 16th Jan and IT0186 is updated for Jan'25 as follows
01.01.2025 to 15.01.2025 EXEMPT
16.01.2025 to 31.12.9999 PR
2) Upon running Jan'25 payroll, there is a split in basic pay due to IT0186 change and is prorated as follows
01.01.2025 to 15.01.2025 $5000/31*15 = $2,400 (approx) -> No CPF > Correct
01.01.2025 to 15.01.2025 $5000/31*16 = $2,600 (approx) -> subjected to CPF > correct
3) But the same is not applied for Recurring Housing allowance. There is no split and all $1,000 is subjected to CPF.

 We are using the standard schema R000.  Please advise why recurring allowances are not split for CPF (IT0186)? Thanks

DM

IT0014 entries generally do not split automatically due to changes in IT0186, we can implement custom logic or configuration adjustments to achieve the desired splitting.

Yes, we have this same problem with infotype 0014 for Global Benefits. Very annoying. The only option to prevent two deductions in the same pay period was to set the pay component to be effective as of the next pay period. We did custom logic as well, but wish SAP would address this functionality gap.
