Can anyone help on the below issue,

We try to add the preferred First name and last name which is maintained in EC - HRIS Personal information and one of the field is custom string.

Do we have any tag in compensation for statement like [[$empFirstName]] [[$empLastName]].

Thanks,

Sri Hari Parthiban

Hi Sri,

Also to let you know, if using the "Preferred" name display in EC - there is a reported item where it shows properly in the comp worksheet but the tags for empFirstName ad empLastName are still reflecting the legal name. This item has been logged and is in progress for the next release 2305.

Thanks,

Lesley

Hi Sri,

In order to be able to use additional tags such as the standard [[$empFirstName]] [[$empLastName]], you need to first have those fields added in your worksheet, which it sounds like you have.

Then you need to add those fields in one of the boxes on the side of the statement but use a condition that will never be met so they are always hidden.

You should then be able to use the column id of that field and call it within your statement such as [[$customPreferredFirstName]].

I don't have an example handy to provide a screenshot but let me know if you can't get this working and I can set one up.

Thanks,

Lesley
