Correspondence - Rejection activity gets automatically created in OFFER Process

Hi,

We have implemented EHP6 (SP11). We are facing an issue in production that when we performed REJECETION activity for external candidate on assignment page in INBOX process the CORRESPONDENCE – REJECTION activity in OFFER process gets automatically created in the system.

Please help us to understand this issue.

Have you checked which user has created those activity? I would guess it was the workflow user - and in that case you would need to check your workflows.

Hi,

first of all you should check if it is an actual data issue or just a display issue. Therefore check the process assignment of the activity in the database (infotype 5136, table HRP5136).

The issue cannot be connected to the function of coupling activities as the "Correspondence: Rejection" activity is used in the old sap sample customizing where it is a simple correspondence and coupling of activities is only working for invitations.

So Nicoles idea with the workflow is quite likely the correct direction. I'd asume that the process assignment of activities in table T77RCF_ACT2PROC is messed up. If the "Correspondence:Rejection" is not customized for Inbox process step, the workflow may created it in any other process the activity is actiually assigned to.

Hello Sarika,

are you using the standard activities for rejection / correspondence? In standard the activity 5010 'Rejection' and '5020' Rejection of application is used. Would you please check table V77RCF_ACT2PROCR in your system if the activies are coupled (linked) with an correspondence activity?

Hi Antje,

We are using standard activities for Rejection '5010' and Correspondance Rejection '1060'. I have checked table V77RCF_ACT2PROCR and in this table these 5010 and 1060 activities have not been coupled.
