Copy and paste 4.1

Hi all,

i'm recording a new simulation using the SPP client 4.11.

Anytime i try to copy and paste a text from an external document to the simulation editor, the CTRL V or right click --> paste doesn't work.

Is it a bug? Is there a patch that solve it?

Hi Enrico,

Applications such as Microsoft® Word and Microsoft PowerPoint contain

XML tags that are used only by the Microsoft application. In order to

insert text from these applications into uPerform, these XML tags

must be removed from the content.

To remove these tags prior to inserting text into uPerform, perform the

following

1. Select and copy the desired text from the application.

2. Close the application. Note: If you have performed any changes,

ensure that you save the file before closing the application.

3. Select Start > Programs > Accessories > Notepad.

4. Paste the text into Notepad. Note: Pasting the text into Notepad

strips the text of the XML tags.

5. Select and copy the text from Notepad.

6. In uPerform, open the file into which you want to insert text.

7. Copy the text into the desired step, field, or note.
