Hello experts,
I've hired a fixed term employee using "add new employee for fixed-term" tool, now we want to convert this employee contract to become a permanent contract, I've followed the instructions mentioned in this link: https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_Best_Practices/6026f787205245a3846a7bbf4a3b12c2/f05eab84623040f39d54c9... . However, the "end of contract" field is not disappearing as it's explained in the 8th step.
Please, what is the best practice to convert a fixed term employee to a permanent one?

Hi,
when you have hired an employee via "Add new employee for Fixed Term" this employee has already a termination record. You might need to rehire the employee after the termination date.
Regarding the contract End Date field: The control of the visibility is done via Business Rule onChange of the Contract type. You might need to check that business rule, if the permanent related contract type is listed there to set the visibility to hide for the contract end date field.
BR,
Sandra
