Continuous Feedback Requests for inactive profiles

Good morning community,

We are currently facing what it seems to me as an issue:

We have an employee with both an inactive profile (previous assignment) and a new active one (current assignment). On the To-Do panel in the Home Page (check-mark icon top right corner near the user menu), there is a notification for pending continuous feedback requests.

However when clicking it to respond, we get the message "Sorry, there is no feedback request for your current profile".

I think this is happening because the request that is prompting the To-Do was received in the previous assignment, which is no longer active. However I am not finding a way to clear the notification.

Users are not able to cancel their own feedback requests, we could not find a way to know who sent the request either via delete continuous feedback or reporting tools, and if the request is pending and inaccessible both for the employees who sent and received it and us admins, I am not seeing a way to clear or action the associated To Do task.

Any feedback on similar situations and potential workarounds is appreciated.
