Contingent Worker ID Generation does not work as before

Dear Community,

Contingent Worker ID Generation does not work as before, Emp ID with CW prefix was generated. Now only a number is generated.

After 1H2024 Release, it was possible to opting out of the feature "Enable Centralized Services to Add Contingent Worker and Add Assignment" in Company System and Logo Settings, the Employee ID of Contingent Workers was generated as per the business rule again.

Now it is not possible to opt out "Enable Centralized Services to Add Contingent Worker and Add Assignment" feature. Currently User ID Generation for Contingent Worker follows the "Next Employee ID Assigned" in Company System and Logo Settings. However it does not support alphanumeric values having the CW prefix. 

Do you have the same issue? Have you found any solution to fix this problem? I opened a SAP support ticket and the agent said that there is no solution for this issue. But maybe there is a special workaround what can help to keep the original settings and continue using CW prefix in the Employee ID of the CWs.
