Context help icon and bubble orientation

Hi all,

I am using the modern style for SAP Companion for desktop. However, I cannot find a setting to change the context help icon and bubble orientation. As you can see in picture below, the help style is always square/rectangle and the bubble orientation is always at the right hand side. Is there anyway we can change this setting to make it a help icon instead of square, and the bubble orientation to be other ways?

Yes, you are correct, it is ignoring these settings when SAP Companion mode is turned on. Please raise a support incident using the Component ID KM-SEN-NAV and see if there is a workaround to your issue.

Hi Choong Win,

If you open the object that contains your context help messages that you want to modify and then click on one of the message, you can change the style of bubble and orientation using the properties of the message. The Display Variant option is used to change how the bubble appears on the screen and the Orientation is used to modify which way the bubble points. You can also use the Mini Icon Type to change the image that appears in the context help message icon.

Unfortunately, SAP Companion has more options for highlighting the object than SAP Companion for Desktop, it is not a 100% match.
