Connection between BTP and SuccessFactors

Hello Experts,

in our company we want a connection between SAP BTP and SuccessFactors, so that SF users can log on into BTP and use cloud apps.

I have set up a direct connetion between BTP and SF.
The log on works fine but unfortunately the E-Mail seems to be corrupt.

In the BTP SuccessFactor users are displayed as "this default was not configured invalid"

I was told we have to use the IAS.
There are descriptions on sap.help.com, but they are not helpful.

I haven't found any blog or vlog which solved exactly this issue.

Question: Does anyone have this issue, and already solved this problem.

Hi Harry, could you be more specific on what has been done already on your side (what configuration) and did you have a success? I expect you deploy your solution (static approuter with SAPUI5 application) into BTP Cloud Foundry? What needs to be done is, that you deploy solution first to get approuter URL. This URL then needs to be maintaned in Provisioning of SuccessFactors. Once you reach your approuter URL, you'll get multiple options for authentication (based on xsuaa service configuration taken from xs-security.json) and you should be able to see SuccessFactors IdP in there. After that, redirect user to a route where SAPUI5 application is sitting (based on xs-app.json configuration) and try to call a route that points to a destination, where SuccessFactors API is configured.

Do not forget to create 'client oauth2 application' in SuccessFactors (application 'Manage oauth2 client application').
