Connecting SEN With Both SF and S4HANA

Hello,

We have SEN cloud edition and connected it to SuccessFactors to use web assistant, we use extended scenario there. We wonder whether we can connect the different workarea including SAP S4/HANA standard content of same SEN to S/4HANA too at the same time, is it possible?

So you're saying that if I keep the content of these systems apart in different workareas and use these workarea URLs to connect while integrating Web Assistant, it will work fine. Thank you so much.

You can only base one workarea on one other workarea. So you can connect SF Standard Content and extend this to Client Workarea 1, and connect S4 Standard Content and extend this to Client Workarea 2. What you cannot do is connect SF Standard Content and S4 Standard Content and extend both of these to Client Workarea 1. And you can't Connect SF Standard Content, extend this to S4 Standard Content, and then extend that to Client Workarea 1.

You can point WA in SF and S/4 to the same (Client) Workarea, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend this. I tend to have separate Workareas per system (each based on the relevant Standard Content workarea if necessary) as it makes it easier to pass support to different teams later if necessary.
