Hi,
Employee has completed a training in the LMS platform. He then created a development goal and added the training as a Learning Activity.
However, the training continues to show as Planned in the Learning Activity even though it has been completed and so he can’t change the dev goal status to complete since learning activity is still showing as pending.
Do both modules work differently? Even after completing the course in LMS do they still need to retake in dev plan? Or do we have any solution to it?

Request clarification before answering.
We see this as well when the employees add a learning goal AFTER they have already completed it. The two systems do work together, but the developmental goal needs to be set first in order for it to show complete. Employees need to set the goal prior to completing the training for it to show complete.
The functionality is similar to if you directly assign a training to an employee - if they already completed and then it gets re-assigned, the system assumes it needs to be completed again.
In these cases, I have recommended for them to delete the new goal and just make a notation of the completion manually instead.

@ramyamula, trying to collaborate with @mbshatto, it'd be possible to review the completion date (Edit Learning History) to determine if it aligns with the conclusion of the development goal.
