Compensation history statement generation

Hi,

Customer wants to have a Compensation history statement something like given below.

Looking for options to generate this outside Compensation module like using Document generation, Canvas report, Show on a custom UI screen in profile. @xavierlegarrec , pls advice on leading practice recommendation for such a requirement.

While this can be achieved by bringing in this data into Compensation form and generating a statement, looking for options outside of Comp module for HRBP to generate this for specific individuals as needed.

Hi @vinkamath

Lots of people get off cycle increases entered directly in EC each year.

Based on that, here are my thoughts. vs your requirement

  • The easier way would be to create a comp module statement template pointing to the last three Salary Review templates. But then I would call it "Annual Salary Review Cycles Compensation History" or something like that.
  • I don't know if Document Generation can use the "as of date" for each column of your mockup below. I know for a fact for having built a self-service Comp Statement in Document Generation that it can show the current value and previous value as of date picked on screen when generation the statement. So you if you use April 1st as a date to generate the document it will show the value as of April 1st and the previous value (even if it's from 3 years before).
    • Document Generation would be the best option in your case to build a HRBP self-service logic.
  • You could probably build exactly what you want with People Analytics Stories but I don't know about the "generation" part and if you can easily export in a nice PDF format from there. I doubt so honestly.
  • Last option to consider would be Open Text, third party but can probably accommodate all your requirements (to confirm with them).

All the best

Xavier

Hi @xavierlegarrec, thanks a lot for your response. So in summary, options available are not very easy/straightforward.
