Compensation – EC Entry Level Field Labels Not Visible

Hello everyone. I am facing an issue while mapping some fields in a Compensation template. I am trying to map a field that is in the Job Information portlet specific to Germany (Job Info_DEU). The data for this field comes from a picklist. However, when mapping this field to display the label, I am unable to show it, even though the employee has this field filled in their profile and we can see the label.

I have tested mapping the field using all three available options:

  1. Job Information (DEU) Contract Type -> Displays the Option ID of the picklist.

  2. Job Information (DEU) Contract Type.Code -> Displays the code.

  3. Job Information (DEU) Contract Type.Label -> Displays the Option ID of the picklist

None of these mapping options retrieve the label of the field correctly. Any insights or solutions would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @MariaCarlotaAbreu

Is the Contract type label showing correctly in EC ?

I think I've encountered this issue before and the fix was in the EC field setup and not in Comp.

I will double check with colleagues and product team in case they have come across it recently.

All the best

Xavier

@MariaCarlotaAbreu Can you please try with the .label or without .label extension and mark comp columns as reportable and translatable ?

@xavierlegarrec It worked! Thank you for your help! I also tested the settings separately, and the key setting for it to work is 'translatable'!
