Close Requisition when applicant 'to be hired'

Is it possible to have an activity change the status of the requisition?  When we process an activity 5100 - Offer Accepted (To Be Hired) for an applicant, is it possible to have the system close out the associated requisition?  If so, can you please guide me to config steps required?

Hi Deborah,

You can do that with the workflow. In case of creating activity 5100, it should also close the requisition.

Thank you Nicole.  By workflow, are you referring to the Status Change workflow ERCStatusChg_2?  Can you please point me in the direction of documentation on how to configure this workflow?

I have set up activity 5100 as a status change activity, then assigned objects NA, NB, ND and NE to the activity type.  I then assigned the activity type object NB status to Closed for activity 5100.  What step am I missing?  This config alone does not change the status of the req to closed.

Hi Deborah,

No, these steps alone don't do it, you have to add a new workflow task which calls the status changing method of requisitions (CL_HRRCF_REQ_MGMT_PL => HANDLE_STATUS).

The workflow to add that is WS51900011 - ERCActCrea_2.
