You could put your own hyperlink in the Description and then hide the document so it doesn't appear at the bottom, but that would all be manual effort (although you could add the link to the Simulation Template...). And you can't change how much space is allocated to the document list, either, in case you're wondering.

The section at the bottom that has the list of documents in it. You can't change the size of that to make the document list start closer to the top of the screen.
I'd have created a nice-looking library start page containing all the links/modes the learner would need.
Also, my library start page template will get these links automatically, so the content developer won't even think about them 😉

(Oh, he just likes to one-up me 😉 ) A 'link in the Simulation Template' is easy enough - it's just a matter of putting a text link to the document into the Description property of the Simulation Project you use as a Template.
Because the document is always saved with the same filename, you can just link directly to that. In the case of the Hands-On Guide this is hands_on.pdf (for the PDF, of course):
