change of Session timeout settings ? Do you recommend ??

Hello everyone,

Has anyone attempted to change the session timeout from 30 minutes? Is this feasible and recommended? Currently, the system issues a warning message after 20 minutes of inactivity and logs out after an additional 10 minutes. We want to change it to  if the session is inactive for 10 minutes, a warning message should appear, and if no action is taken, the system should log off after 5 minutes. Is this possible? Any SAP recommendation guides or documents would be helpful.

Thanks

Archie

As the topic is owned by the Platform team and the Employee Central team has limited knowledge of it, it is recommended to direct any further questions to the Platform team.

Dear Customer, I have tagged the "SAP SuccessFactors Platform" so that the query will be directed to the Platform team. If you do not receive a reply within several days, please consider raising an incident to the LOD-SF-PLT team via SAP For Me. You can access the link here: https://me.sap.com/home.
