We want to be able to more accurately track the use of motor vehicles in our fleet.
Currently the only way to track motor vehicle usage is when using transaction CAT2 during time timesheets creation. This process has limitations as it only captures the motor vehicle type, which is limited to about 40 rows and there are approximately 150 vehicles that need to be tracked.
It is proposed that to enable the tracking of individual vehicles that internal orders are used. The internal order may then be selected and assigned to the line during timesheet entry.
A new internal order type MVEH has been created to facilitate this process.
What we need to achieve are as follows:
1. Rearrange the order of Rec. Order and MV so that MV appears ahead of Rec. Order in the cat2 screen.
2. If option “MV” is selected, then Make the “Rec.Order” option compulsory. This will force users to select a motor vehicle from the internal order list.
3. Provide a filter on “Order type” for the user so that the order type defaults to order type “MVEH”.
