cannot terminate employee

hello,

when i try to terminate employee it says " user must have an active employment record to be terminated" . how to fix this?

sorry did not attach picture... maybe the fact that standard weekly hours = 0 and working days number=0? Why standard weekly hours is not derived from Job Classification ( it should be 40 according to job classification)

There's no hire record in job info (as in event hire)? That would be a reason. Are you also using the terminate option via Take action (because via job info this won't be a real option)?

If the above is not the case it's best to see what has been administered right now in employment info and job info as there could be a lot of data causing such issues.

I am terminating with take action (header of employee profile page on the left of employees photo)

Even a general user will have one (commonly 01/01/1900), but without seeing what employment details looks like and what job info records there are, outsiders (like myself) cannot assess what the exact issue is.
