Cannot delete a learning program

Hi,

I'm trying to delete a learning program that I don't need anymore but it keep getting this error message:

Program is in use and cannot be deleted.

I don't understand how it is "in use." It's not assigned to any users (I don't think, but I don't know which report will tell me) I haven't added it to any libraries or assignment profiles. There is no content in the Description, Agenda, Assignment, Publishing, or Competencies tiles. In the Settings I've changed the Status to inactive.

What else do I need to do so that I can delete the program?

Hello Dino,

I have same issue in the past, you should delete Learning history for all users who finished the program.

And also Learning Assignments, in the past also I learned that the tool Manage assignments (called Manage Learning Needs in last version) is not enough to unassign programs for many users, So I recommend to use the import tool to unassign by layout.

I am currently facing the same issue: I am unable to delete a program.
I used the tool and selected Program Remove, defined the corresponding criteria myself, and tried to remove the users associated with this program – unfortunately without success.
In parallel, I also generated a status report for this program, checking different statuses (inactive, active, not completed), but again without success.

My questions for you are therefore:

1. Has there been any update or new method on how to reliably delete a program in SAP SuccessFactors Learning?

2. In your post, you mentioned going through the Import Tool and performing an Unassign via the layout. Could you please explain in more detail how exactly this step works? This part is not fully clear to me.

3. Alternatively, is there a way to at least deactivate or lock the program for all users? I would also appreciate a hint on this.
