I have set server settings as was adviced (Timeout of server request (s))
Link to SFF: https://education.hana.ondemand.com/educati on/wa/sfsf/~tag/published/
used Proxy url + Port
username: customer

Any advices how to fix it?
Request clarification before answering.
Hi Regina,
Can you please do the following:
1. Open Manager
2. Select Administration > Server Settings
3. Scroll down to the Connected Workarea section of settings and set the following values

4. Scroll down to the Miscellaneous section of settings and set the following values

5. Try again. Please make sure that you fill in the Name, ID, URL and User Name fields. Do not put any special characters in the ID field, just upper and lower case alphabetic characters.
If it still fails, attach a screenshot of the setting you use that are failing.
Regards
Shane

Hi,
I have followed your and your colleague's steps, but not working.
We have no workarea created by $_admin.
Link i use https://education.hana.ondemand.com/education/pub/sfsf

Hi Regina,
The settings all look good so I suspect that it is a proxy issue or your firewall or something is blocking the URL. Can you please try the same settings but include any proxy settings that you require to access the internet. If that doesn't work, can you please ask your IT group to determine if the URL is being blocked and how to stop it from being blocked.
Regards
Shane
Hi Regina,
The easiest way to determine the relevant settings is:
1. Click in the Microsoft Windows Search field and search for the term 'proxy'

2. Use the Address and Port values specified in the Proxy Settings.
If these still don't work or there or the Proxy Settings are empty, talk to your IT team about why the URL is blocked.
Regards
Shane
Hi Regina,
thanks for yaour answer. We tried this too and had contacted the proxy team. Now the request goes through the proxy and timed out then.
We have a new error message in the logs:
java.security.KeyStoreException: problem accessing trust store
But we don't know which trust is mentioned. And which certificate is needed to implement or import.
Did you configure any SSL? And where? On TomCat basis or anywhere in the SEN Configuration?
Best regards
Petra

Hi,
we do have exactly the same problem like Regina.
We have tried all the suggestions in this thread and in others.
The workarea does not exists, we tried many different names. We tried with oder without the proxy settings.
Does anybody have other ideas?
In the manager Log we found these errors:

Hi Regina,
If nothing works, then it means Workarea is already created by other admins in your SEN system. You can contact them. Else it may be created by Super admin ($admin). Please login to the super admin account and check if there is any standard workarea already available.

Hi Regina,
You could also try https://education.hana.ondemand.com/education/pub/sfsf for the URL and make sure that you enter customer in the User Name field, all lower case. The Password field should be left blank.

Hi Regina,
If you're a cloud customer I would suggest trying to connect by just entering the required fields, which are the Name, ID and URL fields.
This will help you troubleshoot being able to establish the connection, which should work with just those 3 required fields. Once you are able to connect, then you could enter the Proxy or username if they are required at your company.

Hi Regina,
it seems that there is a space in "education" in the URL.
Once you reconnect and correct the URL, the error should not appear anymore.
