Candidate Search

Hi guys.

Is it possibile to hide himself form the candidate search results?

I mean, we use Recruiting modules, but not Onb 2.0. So if a Candidate is Hired and he is a Manager he will see all the candidates in the Hired status, Even himself. How can I handle it?

Hi Francesco,

It's very rare to see the scenario you mentioned, i.e. the candidate him/herself assigned to the job requisition against which he/she was hired. This can happen only if the person has joined HR dept. and the requisitions are assigned to group of users in which candidate is added after getting hired.

Coming to the solution:

> Remove the manager (user/candidate) from the job requisition operator field, this will remove the access of the manager from the job requisition

> If the manager has the access to candidate pool, he will be able to see his own internal candidate profile, which I think is ok since they see similar details even if they access Home > Careers > Candidate Profile for applying the job within the organization

> If the manager is able to access his external candidate profile, I would suggest to check if the Internal to External Candidate conversion job is setup and running or not. Ideally, when candidate is hired, this job runs in the background to convert his external candidate profile to internal one and send an email to personal email id informing about this change. If this job run successfully, only one (internal) candidate profile should be available in the system.
