Candidate Job Alert

A recruiter has posted a job and then unposted it. If the recruiter re-posts the same job/req #, would a candidate that has set up a job alert to be notified of new jobs that match their criteria, would this job be presented to them? Or would it not because it is the same req # and was originally shared in a previous job alert notification email? Thanks.

Hi portchuckfan,

The candidate will receive a second job alert for the same job requisition if the job is posted again. Currently, the system does not have the capability to check whether a previous job alert was sent for the same job requisition to the same candidate. Every time a job is posted (or reposted) and if the alert criteria matches the settings then the job alert notification gets triggered to the candidate.
