Candidate does not receive E-Mail from Successfactors

Dear SAP/Successfactors Experts,

I have just gotten off the phone with your customer support, which directed me to post my issue on this board:

  1. User registered and applied to positions through Successfactors with multiple companies with protonmail.com e-mail address
  2. In 2 instances I have not received e-mails sent through the system
  3. Verified that e-mails were sent with the sender in both casesVerified that e-mails are not in spam/junk folder.


ISSUE IS REPRODUCIBLE: Used "Forgot password" function on a different company registration using Successfactors where I am registred with the same e-mail – no e-mail recieved.

I don't know if this issue pertains to my specific e-mail (maybe some block-list for some reason?), or protonmail in general, please check, as this might well be a rare event, but does have a immense impact on the livelihood of the candidates – not receiving an invite to a job interview is critical.

Can you enable the below options and try

Admin Center > E-Mail Notification Templates

  • Document Creation Notification
  • Document Routing Notification
  • Document Completed Notification
  • External To Internal Candidate Profile Conversion Success Notification
  • Internal To External Candidate Profile Conversion Success Notification
