Hi everyone,

We have a blacklist database of candidates. Is it possible to configure the system to automatically block these candidates, based on a unique identifier (e.g., email or passport ID), and prevent them from applying to vacancies?

You cannot block candidates automatically due GDPR issue. However, as a workaround, you can introduce a custom status, such as “Blacklisted Candidate,” in the talent pipeline. Then, either through API integration (based on specific parameters) you can automate it or manually, you can move candidates to this status. Alternatively, you can create a talent pool for blacklisted candidates and manually add them to this pool. If the same candidates apply again, recruiters can review their status in the talent pool and reject their application accordingly.

Thanks,

Sanjeet

Is it possible to create a custom MDF object to maintain a database of blacklisted candidate identifiers (e.g., email addresses, passport numbers), and configure a business rule that checks candidate entries against this object during application or profile creation — so that if a match is found, the system can automatically block the application or move the candidate to a disqualified status?
