Can you schedule a provisioning job for Bonus Calc/Bonus Payout in Variable Pay?

Hi All,

For our Variable Pay template, we are running the Employee Central History Processor job (including running bonus calc) every night to bring in any changes that have happened in EC to our VP form. Following the Employee Central History Processor job, we are running the Variable Pay Basis Amount Calculation and then finally the Variable Pay Mas Update job.

The issue with this is that even though employee history is correctly getting updated with EC changes, the worksheet is not getting updated with Target Incentive Amount and therefore no Guidelines or Budget. I believe this is because we need to run the Bonus Calc AFTER the Basis Amount Calculation job, instead of before as an inclusion within Employee Central History Processor.

Problem is that SAP support tells me there is no standalone provisioning job that exists for Bonus Calc.

Does anyone have any possible solutions for this issue?

This is correct, bonus calculation is not available to be scheduled as a stand alone.   You can initiate a bonus calculation as part of the employee history import.   I do not believe the interim step of a Variable Pay Basis Amount Calculation is necessary.

Yes I don't understand what "Varpay Basis Amount Calculation" means either. When integrated with EC, basis field calc is captured by run bonus calc that triggers at the end of the Employee History job.
