Can we set up Two Factor Authentication for Onboarding module?

Hi experts,

My client has set up the TFA in IAS for their existing employees' access to SuccessFactors.

I would like to check if it is possible to do the same for Onboardees? I have checked and only able to find this KBA https://me.sap.com/notes/0002776016 about TFA and would like to know if this is the correct guide?

It seems like once TFA is enabled for the SuccessFactors application in IAS, it should be applied to Onboardees as well as I do not see a separate settings for Onboarding module?

TFA can be applied to onboardees, but also RBA rules can also be configured to require TFA for employees while exempting onboardees.(RBA Link :

In summary, the SCI administrator has the flexibility to configure required TFA for different set of users ( for example differentiating them based on their types).
